New 'Fraught With Peril' under construction

Hi all -- As you may know, fraughtwithperil is re-launching on a new software platform. The "fraught feeds" over in the far right column of this site will be reconfigured when their new site is up.

Also, I moved the link from the Soka Gakkai Unofficial message board down to the "sites to see" section. Recently, there were some unbroken headlines (such as Buddhism+is+great+word+word, etc.) in their feed. These continuous lines of characters with no spaces basically break the BuddhaJones site and throw our columns out of whack. (This is also why in the past we have asked people to refrain from posting long lines of exclamation points and the like !!!!!!!!!!!!)

Just a little housekeeping note. Hope everyone's having a great weekend.

New 'Fraught With Peril' - robin's nest
Yep. All the old links go straight to the main page. The direct links to entries are new too. I have monthly archives up; which should make it easier to find old entries. Most of the posts will need some realignment too. That is good, because a lot of the older material has gone stale; it needs updated.

I am going to try to develop some functional tags to make searches easier. Ex- Nichiren-Life, Nichiren Statues, Gohonzonshu, Nichiren Temples, Taisekiji-SGI Issues, True Buddha Issue, Mentor-Disiple,  Meditation, Chanting,  and so on. I am still thinking about that. In case no one noticed, I tend to get excessively detailed.  We might be able to develop a category menu down the line.

It is going to be a lot easier to write, because it has most of the html tools. Not having to manually enter code should help my RMD.

Big Feed
I like it, Robin.

You know what I wish someone would do? Someone. Not me, natch. I don't know how to do things. I can only criticize, complain and tell others what they should do.

But, seriously, wouldn't it be great if there were a massive feed page where you could see everything posted in the Nichiren universe on one page? It could have feeds for all the message boards -- including the cult education forum which is awesome -- all the blogs, all the news.

Wouldn't that be great? who knows how to do this? Beryl? (Oh, wait, we're not calling Beryl Beryl anymore. I'll just call you Sweetie as always.) Or Brooke? You always seem to figure these things out. Or what about Markp?

Big feed! Big feed! (everybody say it with me) Big feed!
